Farro does one big thing differently: every pizza base is 100% organic, GMO-free spelt flour, slow fermented for a full 72 hours before it sees the oven. The Richmond room joined the group's Fitzroy, Hawthorn and Thornbury siblings in 2023, taking over the old Beer and Burger Bar site.

The menu runs deep on vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free pizza, pasta and gnocchi, which makes it one of the easiest places on the street for mixed-diet tables. Dogs are welcome on the terrace, birthday cakes carry a $20 cakeage fee, and the Conscious Club loyalty program plants a tree for every signup. Their spelt focaccia sandwiches went semi-viral on TikTok, including a day in 2024 when they gave away a hundred of them.
