300 Grams

300 Grams started in Northcote in 2019 and has since collected the kind of endorsement most burger joints only dream about: a spot on the Financial Times' list of the best smash burgers in the world. The Richmond store opened in May 2024 in the shopfront Foxes Den left behind.

The menu is exactly as focused as it should be: charred smash patties, crispy chicken bites, southern fried chicken burgers, plus vegan patties and southern fried cauliflower for the plant-based contingent. Most importantly for this end of Swan Street, it trades until around 2am on Friday and Saturday nights, which makes it the natural last stop after a gig at the Corner.
